1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer

The Role We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our growing Managed Services team. In this role, you will provide a high level of support to our clients, mentor junior engineers, and play a crucial part in maintaining our systems.
Key Responsibilities: Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., Draytek, Netgear, HP, Watchguard)Use our Remote Management and Monitoring platform (RMM) for network maintenance and system upgradesProvide Level 1 and 2 support to resolve issuesCollaborate with engineers to ensure excellent service deliverySupport cloud-based telephony/SIP trunks configurationConduct site visits to clients when necessaryContribute to the development of operating procedures, knowledgebase, and documentation.Manage and support Microsoft 365 tenancies and applicationsConfigure and support internet connectivity servicesWe offer a supportive work environment with great perks to keep you motivated and engaged, including:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a 1st/2nd line support roleGood knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, HTTPS)Understanding of Windows OS and server administration (AD, DHCP, DNS, Group Policies)Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (VMWare, HyperV)Knowledge of cyber-security solutions (e.g., Sentinel One, BitDefender)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsFull UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential)If you are ready to make a difference and grow your career in IT support, apply now to join our dynamic team at Antar Information Technology Ltd!
