About the Role:
Working nationally as the Resource Manager you will be responsible for effectively managing the allocation and utilisation of our team of consultants. You will have a creative and agile approach to resource management to ensure the right people with the right skills are allocated to all of our projects which will directly contribute to the success of our projects and the organisation as a whole. You will have a high degree of autonomy in your role and your insights and expertise will be valued and listened to. Responsibilities include: Managementof the resourcing function, responsible for the effective management and allocation of internal and resources between client projects, as well as internal tasks/projectsManage resource forecasting and resourcing accuracy based on inputs from the Sales, Support and Delivery teamsManage end to end engagement of ContractorsManage the engagement of onshore and offshore resources with sister or partner organisationsResponsible for monitoring resourcing aspects of projects to ensure projects remain adequately resourced to highlight and solve gaps or clashesMonitoring utilisation levels and trends, providing real time accurate reporting on roster coverage, demand and gap analysis, identifying instances of under-utilisation and conflicts with the facilitation of corrective actionResolve booking conflicts where required. Managing conflicts in relation to resourcing issues and negotiation of acceptable outcomes with all involved partiesAlert relevant managers in relation to any potential concerns or issues with meeting project requirementsDrive mainternance of skills matrix by consultants for up-to-date skill classificationsSkills and Experience: 4+ years Resourcing Manager experienceExperience within IT consultancy / Professional Services essentialKnowledge of ERP / SAP / Analytics highly desirableStrong ability to analyse complex resourcing scenarios and present simple and effective solution optionsYour Key Attributes: High level of organisation skillsStrong communication; verbal and writtenAbility to deal with everyone at different levels – manage up down and sideways – influencing skills and negotiating and presenting opportunities to sales & consultantsProactive and able to self-manageConfident in multi-tasking, versatile, strong time management skills, ability to switch between tasks and manage competing prioritiesA problem solver – ability to make things happen and gain results quicklyKnowledge of consulting business practices and proceduresAbility to make sound decisions and judgmentsExperience working with management and well-versed in the practices and demands of progressive and evolving professional services organisationHighest level of professional courtesy, mutual respect, and ethicsHigh standard of excellence, professionalism, and role model behaviourInnovation is at the heart of how we work with our customers and how we live and breathe as a team.
