The Technical Manager stands at a critical intersection of technology projects, team leadership, and client relationship management within Making Sense.

This role demands a dynamic professional who can effectively manage multiple facets of technology project execution while maintaining excellence in stakeholder communication, team development, and service delivery quality.

This role is not just about overseeing the technical facets of our projects; it's about creating a synergy between client expectations and our delivery capabilities to forge solutions that are efficient, cutting-edge, and valuable for both sides

Key Responsibilities :

Client Relationship Management :

Foster strong, transparent, and reliable relationships with clients, acting as point of contact for technical-related inquires, understanding business needs and objectives and working with the management team to strategize plans to ensure the success of the client and project.

Project Delivery & Execution :

Lead the consistent and successful delivery of technology projects, balancing the triple constraints of scope, time, and quality, while monitoring budget and resource allocations.

Mitigate project risks, prepare contingency plans, and ensure clear and transparent communication of project statuses and challenges to all stakeholders.

Technical Excellence :

Promote within the organization,
the highest levels of technical integrity, ensuring adherence to good practices and the proper use of technologies and methodologies.

Collaborate with a cross-discipline team to navigate technical challenges, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining the technical edge of the team.

Team Leadership & Development :

Cultivate a thriving team environment that encourages continuous learning, collaboration, and a positive work culture.

Identify and nurture the growth and development paths for team members, setting clear expectations, and providing mentorship and support.

Account Growth & Expansion :

Proactively seek opportunities for additional service offerings and expanding the account's footprint, working in sync with business development, the technical team, customer success and sales teams.


Contribute to the financial health of the account through effective budget management, cost optimizations, and revenue growth strategies.

Quality Assurance & Service Quality :

Work alongside QA teams to establish and enforce quality benchmarks, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within project teams.

Oversee not just the technical aspects but also the strategic interactions with clients, ensuring high-quality service in all communications and deliverables.

Career Development & Talent Management :

Set clear role expectations for team leads, guiding them in their career paths, and supporting their growth within the company.

Play an integral part in capacity planning, recruitment, training, and retention strategies, ensuring alignment with the organization objectives.

Business Growth & Company Collaboration :


Play a strategic role in business expansion initiatives, identifying new opportunities, and participating in the staffing decisions to ensure efficient and profitable team compositions.

Assist in shaping departmental structures, roles, and responsibilities, and collaborate across departments to enhance delivery quality and efficiency.

Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Feedback Culture :

Encourage a culture of knowledge sharing through active participation in the organization, department and project events and other forms of professional development.
