The role: As a full-time proactive Jr. Sustainability and Standards Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our sustainability initiatives. In this role, you will focus on analyzing ingredients and vendors, collecting data for business case assessments, tracking food waste, and managing sustainability audits and reporting. It is ideal for someone passionate about environmental responsibility, data-driven analysis, and sustainable food practices ingredient sourcing.
Responsibilities: Data Collection and Business Case Assessment:
Collect, organize, and analyze data to support business case assessments for sustainability initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven insights that inform decision-making on sustainable ingredients and sourcing. Manage and maintain sustainability-related databases and other information systems. Ingredients and Vendor Analysis:
Search and assess ingredients and vendors to ensure alignment with the company's sustainability standards. Evaluate vendor practices and ingredient sourcing to identify areas for improvement in sustainability and development of special lines. Food Waste Tracking and Metrics:
Monitor and document food waste across operations, creating accurate records for waste reduction initiatives. Generate regular metrics and reports on food waste. Sustainability Audits and Reporting:
Conduct and manage sustainability audits, ensuring compliance with company and local regulatory standards. Prepare detailed sustainability reports, summarizing findings from audits and ongoing progress towards sustainability goals. Recipe and Portfolio Analysis:
Screen CookUnity portfolio and analyze recipes to identify potential improvements in ingredients, upgrade them, review ingredients labels, and search for additives replacements. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or about to graduate in Business, Supply Chain, Environmental or Food Engineering, or other related fields. 1-2 years of previous experience in a data entry role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Intermediate/advanced user of Google Sheets/Excel. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and engage with multiple stakeholders. Since our HQ is located in the USA, an excellent level of English is required. Preferred Requirements: Basic knowledge of ingredients sourcing and vendor assessment.
