Responsibilities: Understand and document customer requirements.Estimate the necessary effort for the resolution of each task, committing to obtain the expected result within the agreed effort.Develop autonomously the tasks using the best practices defined by the area of quality.Plan and manage your time effectively to distinguish between urgent and important tasks and fulfill commitments to the client.Deliver proven and functional code pieces.Encourage the adoption of good practices by coaching less experienced developers and conducting code reviews.Utilize tools provided by agile methodologies for continuous learning.Maintain fluid communication with the team, team lead, and the customer.Required Skills: Excellent verbal and written English skills.5+ years of experience in software engineering with Ruby on Rails (Python, Go, PHP, or Java is valued too).Linux and/or Windows Administration.Internet technologies (DNS, Mail, Apache, etc.).Networking concepts (routing, load balancing, firewalls, etc.).Serverless architecture.Experience with Jira or other tools for Service Desk Management.Project Management skills.Familiarity with Agile methodologies.Relational databases, SQL, MySQL, Postgres.Non-relational databases, MongoDB, DynamoDB.
