Responsibilities:Who are you? As a Senior SDET you are the test automation development expert for their Product Delivery Team and have an in-depth knowledge of the test automation tech stack and QA processes. You should Lead SDET coach/mentor and grow SDETs through creating appropriate training plans, paired programming and reviewing MR's. You are also responsible for ensuring test automation MR's go through proper code reviews and are approvers of the MR's for that Product Delivery Team SDETs. You are the owner of the Quality Processes and Code Standards across your team.
In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following: Create Bug Tickets with a detailed description of the issueTechnical Expert in the Product Delivery TeamLooks for opportunities for process improvements within their team and works with others to implement process changes.Ability to lead in architecture discussions and actively contribute to technical discussionsParticipation in sprint grooming, planning, and kick-off to help estimate stories, raise awareness, and additional testing detailsProduct delivery team approver for test automation merge requestsHas a thorough understanding of existing system design, architecture, and business logicMentor and assist others SDETsPerform Code Reviews, promote, recommend, and enforce coding standards and SOPsMonitor the Health of the Platforms using the tools at hand and raise awareness to the teamCollaborate with other SDET Leads on solving common pain points that impact multiple projectsWork and solve complex testing problemsPerform other duties as assigned.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Qualifications:What you bring to the Personify Health Team: In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including: Passion for QualityBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent technology experience.5+ years of SDET/CI/CD/Automation experienceStrong communication skills, openness to collaborate, and enthusiasm to deliver as a part of a teamSolid understanding of the full SDLCA passion and drive for learning technologies and applying them pragmaticallyAn ability to contribute to a technical discussion and the openness to listen and learn from your peersGitlabExpert in Java and/or .NET or similarExperience using automation testing tools and techniquesExperience with formal testing processesTest case and test scenario writing; both manual and automationExperience working with scripting languages and APIsKnowledge of services, web technologies and n-tier browser-based applicationsExperience with and thorough understanding of formal defect management processesDemonstrated expertise troubleshooting complex, distributed software applicationsAbility to work well with other teams to resolve issues and defectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsShow an ability to learn and solve issues in a timely manner – currently using TestNG, Selenium, Kotlin, Java, and JavaScript for test developmentExperience with automated testing for native mobile applications (iOS, Android) utilizing testing frameworks like: XCUITest, Espresso, Appium, TAFFYNo candidate will meet every single desired qualification.
