Your key responsibilities As an Order Management team member, you'll be entrusted with executing transactional procurement activities. These include requisition processing, purchase order maintenance, contracts collection and storage utilizing the client's contract life-cycle management solution, and aid with the resolution of blocked invoices. You will process transactions in client's purchasing systems, regularly engage with stakeholders for their Accounts Payable (AP) inquiries and address any process exceptions.
Skills and attributes for success Direct business stakeholders to the suitable purchasing channels for their procurement requests. Efficiently manage requisition queues in the purchasing system to ensure prompt actions. Carefully process requisitions into purchase orders, scrutinizing them for accuracy and completeness. Assess business purchasing requirements and procure vendor quotes for devised requests by business stakeholders. Execute delivery assurance processes, such as requesting order acknowledgements and confirming delivery schedules to ensure punctuality. Maintain and administer changes to purchase orders within the purchasing system. Collect contracts and securely store them in the client's contract lifecycle management system. Foster collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and other Procurement teams. Respond to inquiries from vendors and stakeholders related to purchasing transactions (ex. Requisitions, POs, catalogs, etc.) Provide expert guidance on procurement policies and procedures to enhance compliance among business stakeholders. Engage with business stakeholders, Accounts Payable, and the rest of the Procurement teams to resolve any anomalies in the purchasing process. To qualify for the role you must have Advanced fluency in English and Spanish. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in procurement or purchasing. Established experience in Contract Management. A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills. The ability to seamlessly adapt to shifting priorities, handle multiple demands, and thrive in a rapidly-changing environment.
