This is a 3-month supplier contract role, with the possibility of extension. This role is based in Buenos Aires and is remote. All candidates must reside in Argentina andbe able to work and communicate using business-level English.

AKQA Senior Front-End Developers participate in the creation of sophisticated digital experiences and must have advanced understanding of front-end web development. As a Senior Front-End Developer at AKQA, you will work with a team of highly skilled people – each with strong opinions about various technologies, frameworks and approaches to delivery.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and other web development/production toolsExpert in JavaScript with an emphasis on Vanilla JS rather than helper libraries or frameworksAbility to independently develop JavaScript prototypes which includes research and proof of concept developmentExperience with templates and task automation including NPM and webpackAdvanced knowledge of responsive web designExperience developing accessible UI interfaces to WCAG 2.1 AA and higher. Experience with translating comps and wireframes into flexible and usable codeExperience implementing pixel perfect designs across a broad range of browsers and devicesExperience using version control software(git) in multi-developer teamExperience with sketch and photoshop Experience with developing large customer-facing websitesExperience working with fully remote teamsQUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
