Job Description: As a Solution Specialist, you are the referent for the downstream processes. You define and establish target solution, starting from an initial conceptual vision and evolving into a more concrete solution specification. You make high-level design choices according to the business strategy; dictate the standards, guidelines, best practices, and patterns and identify impacts on the information system. You will have to understand business requirements, prepare or review specifications, work effectively with other functional and technical team members, make recommendations, and converge all requirements into one/several solutions.
When specifications are set and solutions defined, you will also ensure the delivery of the solution hand-in-hand with the rest of the team.
In this position, you will have three main roles covering a large scope of responsibilities:
You are the gatekeeper of the downstream processes and its integration with the rest of the ecosystem: Understand the business needs and translate into a solution.With other team members, design cross-process flows.Work closely and confidently with various departments.Ensure maintenance and enhancement of your process.You act as a trusted partner for long-term & continuous improvement: Manage business relationships to define target priorities and business value.Ensure communication and be responsible for oneself indicators (measurable KPIs).Animate, inform, communicate, enhance, anticipate and perform with the other domains to ensure end-to-end design.Elaborate action plans for continuous improvements of the solution and solving recurrent incidents.You are part of the company that implements worldwide initiatives. You will be onboarded as Americas (SWLT, NLT, NAM) project team member in S/4 worldwide roadmap. As a summary: You will have a full view of what is done in our team: Responsible for SAP Downstream processes, including integration with other flows.Make solution design decisions as an owner of the SAP Downstream solution & processes.Manage business relationships to ensure priority and business value.Enable long-term value by proposing improvements.IT Skills: [Must] Experience in IT best practices.[Must] Medium experience in SAP SD.[Must] Basic experience in SAP MM.[Must] First experience on full SAP project lifecycle.[Plus] Basic experience in SAP SD/MM tax-related implementation of North & South America countries.[Plus] Basic experience in SAP LE.[Plus] Basic experience in SAP Fiori.[Plus] Basic experience in SAP Development.[Plus] Basic experience in SAP EDI integration.[Plus] Basic experience with test campaign executions & automation tool.[Plus] Basic experience with JIRA and ServiceNow.Business Skills: [Must] Basic sales and distribution business processes understanding.[Must] Basic procurement business processes understanding.[Plus] Basic experience in agricultural, pharmaceutical, food beverage or retail industry practices.[Plus] Experience in soft commodity trading practices.Soft Skills: [Must] Great relationship and ability to work with multiple teams.[Must] Ability and flexibility to work independently as well as in a team.[Must] Ability to learn fast and adapt to new solutions.[Must] Ability to demonstrate Critical Thinking.[Must] Strong analysis, synthesis & communication capacity (written & oral).[Must] Flexibility/adaptability in a quickly changing background scenario & no uncomfortable feelings in front of ambiguity.[Must] Business customer focused and high proactivity.[Must] Analytical and problem-solving Skills.[Must] Be fluent in English, written and spoken.[Must] Be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.Experience: [Must] 4 years proven experience in IT projects.[Must] Experience with SAP SD/MM.[Plus] Experience working in a large IT team & collaborative environment.[Plus] Experience working in an international multi-cultural environment.Languages: Education: Master degree (or equivalent) in IT, Supply Chain, Business school or equivalent.Additional: You will report to a manager based in General Lagos, Argentina.Few national & international travels to other LDC locations will be required.
