Job Summary This position is responsible for managing a region of customers in LATAM as part of the Global Quality team for the Health & Biosciences division. As a Regional Customer Quality Manager, the selected candidate will manage the Quality owned processes that drive business growth for the region and liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders (e.g. commercial, regulatory, manufacturing and logistics teams) and on critical occasions be involved directly with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Oversee and continuously improve the new product introduction process to support business growth and to meet and exceed customer expectations.Support the regulatory teams by ensuring that Technical Documentation requested by the customer is available on demand or provided with satisfactory turnaround times.Liaise directly with customers and the commercial team to follow up complex issues, general customer concerns or new requirements and build customer relationships to better understand the expectations.Improve the quality department's involvement in the development process of new products by collaborating with R&D, Regulatory and commercial functions to improve the time to market of new products in the region.Review customer expectations and requirement documents, negotiate where necessary and establish regional, divisional or global procedures to ensure compliance to the agreements made with customers.Support H&B quality strategy within the region and assist with corporate or divisional quality initiatives.Be the voice of the customer in IFF and the voice of IFF with the customer.Job Requirements BS in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biosciences, Food Technology, or related science field, or equivalent experience.Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance, product safety and/or regulatory requirements for food, feed, excipients, and/or API.Experience in conducting root cause analysis and other problem-solving techniques.Demonstrated experience in a multi-disciplinary and collaborative environment based on achieved successes.Ability to work independently to manage projects and timelines.Ability to manage teams without direct reporting lines using active listening, convincing arguments, and influencing skills.Ability to make critical decisions or appropriately escalate to senior leadership depending on the situation.Ability to deliver results under pressure and prioritize effectively.Ability to handle difficult conversations and remain calm and solution-oriented.Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.Native level of Spanish or Portuguese.Please submit your CV in English
