As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure that the final product observes the company's quality standards.
The Software QA Engineer supports the product delivery (development) department and is responsible for performing both manual and automated testing using Selenium C# with BDD Specflow, RSpec/Kabybara, Cypress (or similar). In addition, the Software QA Engineer will help create an automation framework for functional testing and backend testing, automation of API Tests, and Load and Performance Testing.
What you'll do: Create Selenium C# Automation Framework with BDD Specflow, RSpec/Kabybara Cypress and Typescript for Angular (or similar).
Perform approximately 50% Manual/50% Automated testing. Perform REST Endpoint testing/Postman API Testing. Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, API, load, and end-to-end tests; and design and execute complex troubleshooting and debugging tasks. Conduct analysis of performance and load testing results, evaluate the application performance and system capacity and compile performance test reports. Perform manual backend testing not limited to ETL. Ensure execution against project plans and delivery commitments. The ability to identify data changes, breaks, and errors with granular identification. Will execute the "Squeeze-the-Juice" testing principle. What you bring to the role: A Bachelor's Degree or relevant work equivalent (4+ years' experience in software testing).
Expertise in Manual Testing, Exploratory Testing, and Backend Testing. Expert level in API automation using Postman, Newman, and Swagger or similar tools. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills. Preferred: Have built automation frameworks using Selenium C# with BDD Specflow or Protractor and Typescript for Angular or similar.
Has extensive experience in Agile with CI/CD. Extensive experience in Jira, Confluence, and Testrail. Expert level in Load and Performance Testing tools using JMeter / InfluxDB / Grafana. Expert level understanding of object-oriented concepts, Page Object Model Automation Test Framework, Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD). Experience writing automation test for Angular (e.g., Protractor and Typescript). Experience in the Health Care industry particularly in Population Health technology solutions or domain.
