Job purpose The Pa y roll Transition Senior Manager is centrall y responsible to drive all the transition initiatives of E Y
GDS for the Pa y roll service line. The role will draw on prior experience of project management,
business anal y sis and change management expertise to of successfull y run high profile transitions
large clients' data fr o m multiple geographies. An in-depth understanding BPO/ shared services
environment and exposure to the Pa y roll domain is a m u st. The role supports the initiatives of the
Global Pa y roll engagements.
Responsibilities Define standards, processes, and controls that ensure Impl e mentation, Operations and Client level readiness for transition fr o m i mplementation to operational production.
Develop and communicate operational standards that are to be used during implementation
that aid in a sustainable operational solution for our client
Determine methods and tools for validation of impl e mentation configurations in accordance w ith
Operations standards.
Develop client facing materials that orient and prepare the client for a successful understanding
and execution of transition to operational production including training, tools, processes, contact
lists, escalation procedures, operational performance measures, etc.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction b y delivering project cost, schedule and quality objectives
Effectivel y identif y , manage, resolve and mitigate ke y risks and issues impacting the project deliver y . W o rk w ith internal teams to ensure effective procedures are established for setup of internal and external s y stems, tools, and processes as part of the client transition process.
Act as an escalation point to provide input and approval for exception based service requirements.
Define ongoing ke y performance measures that identif y and report on client satisfaction and team performance related to transition activities.
Continuall y evaluate and improve transition to service training, documentation, and procedures based on client and team m e mber feedback.
Assist Implementation and Operations with determining resource needs and allocations based on client solution and scope of service.
·Interview, on board, develop and gro w talent that continuall y meets or exceeds job requirements.
Functional & Technical skills
· End-to-end Pa y roll kno w ledge is a must. Thorough understanding of upstream and
do w nstream processes that impact Pa y roll.
· Should have managed multi-countr y Pa y roll transitions in a shared service environment.
· Flexibilit y and good team working skills
· Strong in both w ritten and verbal communications
· Highl y organized with excellent customer service skills and comfortable in a client facing
environment
· Strong IT skills and can adapt quickl y to w orking with ne w technologies
· Proven capabilit y to define, document and rollout procedures and processes across multiple
departments and/or groups.
· Abilit y to effectivel y engage with prospects or clients to properl y position the value and scope
of services provided b y the team.
· Abilit y to work w ith internal/external customers globally and/or virtual basis.
· Abilit y to develop standard transition methodolog y , tools and templates.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate or Post Graduate in Accounting/ Finance. MBA or Business Management skills preferred.
An overall 10 -12 y ears' experience with at least 8 y ears of relevant hands on experience on Human Capital or Pa y roll transitions for large organizations.
PMP certification will be advantage.
