We are seeking an experienced Production Support Specialist with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills to support and ensure the stability of our production environments. The successful candidate will join our team in a hands-on role, focusing on monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. This position requires flexibility for on-call support and clear communication skills to effectively manage triage calls and convey status updates.
Requirements: +8 years of relevant experienceOperating System: Proficient in Linux environments.DevOps & Containerization: Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.Middleware & Messaging: Knowledge of Tomcat, Kafka, and MQ.Database: SQL and Oracle.Monitoring & Analysis: Strong experience with Kibana and Grafana; able to analyze monitoring data effectively.APIs & Data Formats: Proficient in REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.Logging & Querying: Familiar with Splunk for log analysis and system health monitoring.GraphQL: Working knowledge of GraphQL. Desired Skills: Java Tuning: Experience with Java JVM tuning for performance optimization.NoSQL: Familiarity with Cassandra Database.Advanced Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of AppDynamics, Prometheus, ELK, and Zabbix.Configuration & Scripting: Experience with YAML.API Testing Tools: Proficiency with SoapUI and Postman.Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS and/or Azure. Job Responsibilities: Monitoring & Analysis: Analyze monitoring data from Kibana and Grafana to detect and resolve issues proactively.24/7 On-Call Support: Provide support on a rotational basis to address urgent production issues outside of business hours.Service Availability Checks: Use tools such as Postman and SoapUI to verify service availability and functionality.Production Support & Ticket Management: Handle production support tickets and manage ticket lifecycle to meet SLAs.Java JVM Health Assessment: Assess Java JVM health to ensure optimal performance.Communication: Effectively communicate status updates to relevant teams and stakeholders.Triage Calls: Manage and participate in triage calls, ensuring quick diagnosis and resolution of critical issues.
