Purpose of the role: The Membership Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategies to grow and retain the Bombay Club Membership base.
This role involves creating, developing and implementing member engagement activities, managing member communications, and ensuring that members receive high value from their association with the Bombay Club.
Your responsibilities will be: Defining the Bombay Club membership strategy in line with stakeholder agreement, to optimise and utilise all our assets, to attract and retain a core membership community.
Identifying a membership platform on which Bombay Club membership can stand and grow.
Creating, developing and executing strategies to attract and build a core membership for the Club and a vertical that optimises our other verticals.
Monitoring membership trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
Conducting outreach activities, including attending events and networking to promote membership.
Curating a loyalty program that defines and optimises member benefits for all members.
Planning and implementing programs and events that engage and provide value to members.
Developing member recognition programs and initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and loyalty.
Maintaining regular communication with members through newsletters, emails, social media, and other channels.
Analysing membership data to track performance against goals and identify areas for improvement.
Developing and managing the membership budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Working closely with other departments to align membership strategies with all other departments in Bombay, and their goals.
Utilising the marketing collateral to develop campaigns and materials promoting membership.
What we expect from you?
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in membership management, preferably with experience in implementing and launching loyalty programs in luxury-related industries, and working with high-net-worth individuals (HNWI).
Proven track record of successfully growing and retaining a membership base.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and membership management software.
Strong organisational and project management abilities.
Analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
