The French speaking owner of the position stewards self-responsible under the business scope of the assigned retail customers. The aim is to minimize risks, failures and losses by considering and respecting all internal and external requirements.
Your tasks will be:
Execute after contract termination tasks and decide upon file treatment e.g. debt sale, bailiff or external lawyer treatmentNegotiate with qualified customers about potential settlementsExecute day-to-day insolvency handling in order to get the funded vehicles back as quickly as possible and to limit riskHandle our Litigation portfolio and give direction and follow-up on outsourced relations e.g. bailiffs and lawyersPrepare write-off files for approval in the local marketSupport credit analysts and give regular feedback to the credit department (incl. post mortem process)Support projects relevant to collectionsIn addition to our collectively agreed salary, flexible working time models and 30 days vacation per year, the benefits for our employees include a variety of employee discounts, a well-equipped fitness studio in our office building.
Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
Degree in French Law or equivalentExperience in debt collection and litigationStrong experience in negotiating with customersExperience in a customer service environmentProficient in French (native speaker level)Other languages are considered as a plusPersonal skills:
Have 'people skills' and a good understanding of how to deal with lawyers/customers/suppliers in FranceSelf-reliant way of workingAbility to build good relations with our customersBe structured and be able to work well within deadlinesExperience in conflict resolutionFlexibilitySkillful in negotiatingGood self-assertionGood teamwork skills as reliableAdditional information:
