Everything you are looking for and more The main mission of the Health and Safety Technician will be to reduce accidents at work and increase productivity.
To identify, evaluate and control the risks associated with each job.
He/she will be responsible of preventing and analysing the causes of work accidents and illnesses.
He/she will be in charge of all those functions that ensure and improve quality and health at work.
What responsibilities and objectives will you have?
• Keeping records, completing and safeguarding documents relating to accidents at work, diagnosed and suspected occupational diseases, analyses and other documents required by law, as well as preparing reports.
• Carrying out inspections of working conditions and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards, as well as making proposals to prevent risks to the life and health of workers.
• Participation in the assessment of occupational risks associated with the work performed and in improvement plans, measurements of the working environment, drawing up instructions and procedures.
• Participation in the determination of the circumstances and causes of accidents and in the development of preventive actions as a result of the investigation of the causes and circumstances of accidents.
• Medical examinations of employees • Support in the maintenance of personal files, employee affairs.
• Coordinate, analyse and escalate safety incidents.
Well, what will the requirements be?
• At least 3to 4 years in a similar position • Higher education or bachelor's degree.
• Occupational health and safety training • First aid course desirable • Environmental protection course desirable • Desirable fire inspector course • OSH internal auditor course desirable • Fluent in English, other languages desirable • MS Office • Ability to work in a team • Analytical thinking • Autonomous What do we offer?
