About the position As the new Global Manager Maintenance Management, you will work in the Asset Integrity Management team within Perstorp's Operational Excellence department.
Perstorp is undergoing a transformation towards a more globally integrated and digitally advanced organization, and in this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a global scale, focusing on various aspects of plant asset management.
Your responsibilities will include equipment reliability and availability, loss prevention, data analysis and life cycle asset management.
Additionally, you will play a key role in the global implementation projects of major IT systems, such as SAP Plant Maintenance, and other interconnected systems.
This position will be based in either Malmö, Perstorp or Stenungsund, with flexible arrangements.
Some travel must be expected, since Perstorp operates sites in both Europe, Asia and North America.
What will you do?
As the Global Manager for Maintenance Management, you will be responsible for global work processes for maintenance.
You will work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues in the Asset Integrity Management team, the wider Operational Excellence department, and across Perstorp's global sites.
Process Improvement : Own work processes related to maintenance management and facilitate improvement and local implementation of these processes across Perstorp's production sites.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with site maintenance teams to coach, support, and oversee the implementation of global core work processes.
Projects : Participate in global or local improvement projects within both maintenance and other areas of operational excellence, as well as interaction with capital projects.
Preventive Maintenance : Focus on further implementation of Perstorp's preventive maintenance initiatives, including generic maintenance together with the Reliability team.
Promote and further drive the usage of failure data analysis and evaluation of preventive maintenance coverage and effectiveness.
Performance Monitoring : Develop and improve global structures to monitor and follow up on maintenance performance across Perstorp Group.
Spare parts management : improve processes for spare parts holdings and management as well as interfaces between capital projects and receivers.
Who are you?
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or other relevant discipline is preferred.
Equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the process industry, such as oil & gas, chemical, or nuclear sectors.
Experience in a similar maintenance role with comparable responsibilities is preferred.
Proven experience in maintenance and reliability of plant and process equipment, as well as capital projects.
Experience in roles involving coaching, steering, and overseeing global structures is highly desirable.
Knowledge and experience working within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred Fluent in English (verbal and written) We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach, ready to tackle challenges and achieve ambitious goals individually as well in collaboration with the team.
The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset, driven to not only resolve problems but also to understand and prevent them in the future.
Additionally, proficiency in producing clear and effective written process documentation, training materials, and presentation materials for various organizational levels is essential.
