The Role As the Founding Recruiter, your role will focus on building out Meritt's sales recruitment agency.
You'll work hands-on to recruit top sales talent while driving the growth and development of the business unit.
This is a collaborative and entrepreneurial role that also involves working with the CEO and product team to refine Meritt's recruitment tools and technology.
Key Responsibilities Manage the recruitment process for sales roles, leveraging Meritt's AI sourcing technology to source, assess, and place top talent.
Partner with existing customers in the US and UK, ensuring high satisfaction and delivering results, expanding accounts Build out the recruitment business unit, starting as a hands-on recruiter with the goal of expanding the team over time.
Help develop and implement processes within our ATS and meritt to ensure efficiency and scalability in the recruitment operation.
Work with the CEO and GTM Lead to build out sales strategy.
Plan for and make key hires as the agency grows, starting with the recruitment of the second recruiter.
Provide consistent feedback and insights to the CTO product team, helping to shape Meritt's technology and ensure it meets client and market needs.

Requirements Experience and passion for 360 sales recruitment, ideally within an agency or fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding and passion of sales hiring in both the US and UK markets.
Understands the value of social within recruitment.
Entrepreneurial GSD mindset with ambitions to one day run or build your own recruitment business.
Familiarity with recruitment technology or AI tools (preferred but not required).
Highly motivated, organised, and proactive in tackling challenges and driving growth.

Compensation Base Salary: £25,000–£30,000 per annum.
On-Target Earnings (OTE): Double your base salary with an uncapped commission potential.
