As a Fleet and Safety Analyst, you will focus on reviewing driver safety profiles, managing points assignments, business requests, and supporting fleet and safety. Work directly with internal stakeholders, vendors, the field organization, legal and fleet team members to ensure safe and efficient fleet initiatives.
This position is responsible for managing safety, fleet, analytics, reporting, and support related to a fleet of approximately 4,000 vehicles following required policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities: Manages the spouse/domestic partner driver qualification program and creates reports for PayrollAudit secondary driver report to ensure drivers are receiving proper personal use deductionsReview and communicate with employees where the driver's license state does not match state of residenceResponsible for replies to shared email boxes concerning safety, fleet questions, and statusProactive tracking of safety recallsReview and assess points based on camera violationsMonitor fuel compliance reports and file fraud paperwork as well as communicate with drivers for complianceManage requests for insurance coverage, POA, business licenses, and parking permitsManage and submit the violation payment communicationDevelop the analysis of the risk level driver reportEnsure appropriate points are assessed for missing key fobs, running out of fuel, etc.Audit data to ensure accuracy for reporting and inclusion in the data lakeLook for potential improvements in all aspects of the operation — accidents, safety, and fleet managementTroubleshoot data feed entry errors with key internal groupsDevelop thorough knowledge of fleet policies and how they apply to driver safety and responsibilityDevelop periodic reports of relevant, compelling, and succinct information and metricsDevelop project plans, track progress, and develop deliverables and implement changesProvide backup for other fleet team roles when neededEnsure adherence to fleet policies and proceduresSpecial projects as assignedJob Qualifications: Manage and adapt to change and proficiency in dealing with ambiguitySelf-starter with the ability to work independently and within a teamProven leadership ability in a high-performance work cultureAbility to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders professionallyPossess strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and writing skillsHighly organized with good time management capabilities and the ability to multitaskStrong attention to detailPassion for customer focus and fleet excellenceTake initiative, display a sense of urgency, and possess a strong work ethicAbility to handle extremely sensitive and confidential informationPositive attitude with a willingness to assist others as neededGood commercial, analytical, financial, and business understandingAbility to interact effectively and build favorable business relationships across multiple departmentsFlexible to work occasional extended hours for priority projects or resolving client issuesEducation: Some college preferredSkills: Minimum of 2 years of business experienceAnalytical acumenIntermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel data formulas, charts, pivot tables, and V-Lookup functions, and ability to learn new or proprietary systems
