Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Care Assistant As a Live-in care assistant you will become an integral part of our Customer's life as you will live with them, support them to meet all of their daily needs and ensure that they are safe and well cared for in their own home.

As a live-in care assistant you will build relationships with people from different backgrounds, with different personalities and lifestyles, and, care needs that vary.
Responsibilities Assisting with personal care needs including continence care Assisting with medication (prompting & administration) Assisting with meals (preparation, cooking, feeding) Safe Moving and Handling practices Companionship Outings – shopping, social trips etc Appointments – accompanying Customer to appointments Light household duties – cleaning and laundry Record keeping in line with Company policy Observing & reporting on Customers health & well-being Encourage Customer independence and be perceptive of their needs Our live-in care assistants usually work on a pattern of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, although this can be negotiable.
Your Experience and Suitability for the Live-in Care Assistant Role Previous experience within a care setting is highly desirable.
