The Role:
We are looking for a skilled Data Architect to join our team, where you will take charge of designing and implementing our data architecture and solutions. In this position, you will develop data models, oversee data pipelines, and manage the architecture to guarantee data accessibility, reliability, and scalability. Your role will be pivotal in advancing our data strategy, empowering data-driven insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, effective data architecture solutions. Design and implement data models, pipelines, and integrations to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning. Oversee ETL processes, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading from various data sources into data lakes, data warehouses, or other storage solutions. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing best practices in data governance and compliance. Conduct technology evaluations and implement proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to explore new data solutions and tools. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines, models, and storage solutions to maintain high availability and performance. Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, data models, and data flows. Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and innovations in data architecture, proposing improvements to support future scalability and functionality. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a similar role. Proficient in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing, with experience in technologies like SQL Server, Snowflake, or BigQuery. Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica). Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, especially with data services. Familiarity with data governance practices and tools, including data lineage, cataloging, and security. Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases, with experience in designing scalable solutions. Solid understanding of data privacy, security standards, and best practices in data compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
