The Contracts Negotiator is responsible for drafting and negotiating standard and non-standard contracts. This role acts as a liaison between Sales and Legal to resolve complex Legal, commercial, and contractual issues. This role reports to the Manager, Contracts Management Team while taking guidance and direction from Legal Counsel and job assignments from Contracts Management Team Lead.
What you'll do: Prepare, negotiate and evaluate contracts for new and add-on business;Perform general contract support and cross-functional coordination of business matters on behalf of the Legal department;Provide advice on commercial and legal terms and some business terms;Conduct contract research;Handle adhoc requests received from business unit with respect to a given deal, issue or scenario;Validate signed contracts have been executed following company policy and procedures;Manage completion of creation, regeneration and validation to service level agreement;Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures with the Legal department;Act as a SME on the contracting process within each application;Build relationships with key business units and partners such as Sales, Legal, Commercial, Billing, IT and Marketing;Provide superior customer support in every interaction.What you bring: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Law;Basic experience with contracting concepts and a wide range of experience with contract types;Solid understanding of sales and alliance contract processes;Solid knowledge of MS Office products and general systems acumen;Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory;Knowledge of Spanish, German, and French is a plus.Bring out your best: SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
