Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly organized Bookkeeper expertise to join our dynamic Chicago-based construction firm. This role is ideal for a professional who excels under pressure and can efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.The Role- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.- Conduct data entry and maintain financial records using QuickBooks.- Monitor and manage incoming scheduled, pending, and declined payments.- Handle collections accounts, including customer outreach for payment follow-ups.- Ensure timely collection of deposits and coordinate with banks and customers as needed.- Engage in customer communications, including collections and resolving challenging issues.Ideal Profile- Minimum of 2 years of experience with QuickBooks.- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.- Familiarity with Google Apps such as Docs, Gmail, and Calendar is a plus.- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.What's on Offer?- Opportunity within a company with a solid track record of performance- Work alongside & learn from best in class talent- A role that offers a breadth of learning opportunities
