The Job

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and oversee the company's backup and recovery systems.
- Regularly perform and monitor backup operations to ensure compliance with the company's data protection policy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backup processes.
- Perform data recovery operations in the event of data loss or corruption.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to align backup and recovery operations with overall security protocols.
- Continuously evaluate and improve backup strategies and processes.
- Provide training and support to team members on effective data protection practices.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backup solutions.

The Profile

Qualifications :

- 2-3 years of professional experience as a Backup Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using Acronis backup software and familiar with its deployment and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of data protection principles and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) strategies.
- Experience with other backup solutions and technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or certifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluent in Spanish and English to effectively liaise with the stakeholders of the region.
