Yacht Ism/Isps Manager

Role The main objectives of the position are to provide and maintain safe, secure, and compliant operations of all yachts within the Yacht Management Fleet.

Attributes: Extensive regulatory knowledge of IMO, MARPOL, STCW, SOLAS, MLC. High organisational skills. Excellent written and oral communication ability. Team player. Languages an asset. Well presented, reliable, tolerant, and determined. Professional and credible in dealing with Owners, Captains, and crew. Knowledgeable in emergency scenarios and ability to work under pressure. Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in the yachting industry. General Technical / Engineering knowledge – an advantage. Ability to work without supervision. Passenger Ship / Yacht Experience either at sea, in a watchkeeping capacity - an advantage or shore-based roles as class or flag state surveyor. Managerial experience - an advantage. General IT skills and familiarity with commonly used industry software. The ability to interpret and analyse published legislation into plain language for general and pragmatic use. Qualifications Commercial Seagoing Master, chief officer, chief engineer or higher education degree within the Marine Field. ISM / ISPS Lead Auditor & Company Security Officer training.
