WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Product Owner (PO) is the Agile team member primarily responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. As a member of the extended Product Management function, the PO is the team's primary customer advocate and primary link to business and technology strategy. This enables the team to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while continuously evolving the Solution.

However, the PO cannot accomplish this alone. The PO provides a crucial link in the bi-directional information flow between Product Management (PM) and the Agile team. The PO keeps the Agile team informed of the strategy that drives product design and keeps Product Management informed of the innovations that influence the evolution of product strategy. Customer feedback aligns thinking from strategy through execution and is accessible to all roles. To support this, you need to double as a PM in addition to the PO role.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, with proven experience in Agile environments with 2-5 years in product management or business analysis. Nice to have Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent (PSPO, SAFe PO/PM). Expertise in product visioning, backlog management, and delivering value-driven solutions. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric mindset. Proficiency in tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and data-driven decision-making using analytics platforms. Ability to align business goals with technical execution in fast-paced Agile teams.
