Job Description - XENTRY Portal Products - Test Engineer (MER0003I11)
Description Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional and business requirements. Develop, execute, and document business acceptance test cases to ensure alignment with business needs. Perform end-to-end testing to validate workflows, user journeys, and business processes. Identify and document defects, ensuring proper resolution and retesting within project timelines. Validate system outputs against expected results and business rules. Work closely with development, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth defect triaging and closure. Create and maintain clear test plans, reports, and business acceptance documentation. Support UAT execution by coordinating with business stakeholders and end users. Provide feedback on business process improvements based on testing observations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in Business Acceptance Testing or User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Strong understanding of business processes and end-user workflows. Experience in preparing test plans, test cases, and test reports. Ability to identify gaps between requirements and actual implementation. Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to validate business scenarios effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with business and technical teams. Knowledge of SQL for validating data integrity during testing. Experience in manual testing; exposure to test automation tools is a plus.
