Job ResponsibilitiesDiagnosis data content development for Mercedes-Benz Aftersales Diagnostic testerSupport & resolve Mercedes-Benz Workshops with issues arising during diagnostic tasks/routinesValidation of diagnosis content of the various electronic systemsWorking in a global team to deliver diagnostic content in time with defined qualityEffective communication and co-ordination with Various Stake HoldersSkills RequiredIndependent working experience with electronically controlled vehicle systemsGood understanding of Gasoline, Diesel engine and automatic transmission & its subsystemsGood understanding of diagnostic tester and diagnostic toolsBasic understanding of control unit Software, Actuations, Actual values, DTCs and RoutinesAbility to understand the wiring diagram, system diagram of automotive systemAbility to write the repair procedures for powertrain system componentsCustomer oriented thinking and previous workshop experience is an advantageGood analytical skills for analyzing the field issues related to vehicle & diagnostic tester contentGood written and communication skillsGerman language proficiency is an added advantageBasic Knowledge of CAN and UDS protocol is an added advantageExperienceHands-on experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of automotive electronic vehicle systems (Specifically Powertrain, Transmission systems)Experience on Aftersales diagnostic content development for offboard diagnosisExperience in diagnostic authoring tool (GradeX) is an added advantageOrganizationMercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
