Your Mission as a Workover Engineer As a Completion Well Intervention Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the engineering and operational success of our completion and workover initiatives.
Your mission involves preparing comprehensive Completion and Workover Programs and procedures, alongside AFEs, while providing technical supervision and mentorship to our field engineers and junior engineers.
You will be a key technical advisor, attending critical operations onsite to ensure optimal execution and compliance Key Responsibilities and Duties as a Workover Engineer Collaborate with Subsurface and Production teams to align completion and workover plans with company objectives.
Conduct detailed reviews of Completion Basis of Design, ensuring compatibility and compliance of all hardware components.
Prepare well status reports post-completion/workover and develop operational flowcharts and contingency plans.
Confirm final hardware design for stimulation, treating, and production, ensuring compatibility with TDAS.
Draft comprehensive programs for sub-assembly make-up, drifting, gauging, and pressure testing.
Ensure fluid density and composition are optimized for formation compatibility.
Review and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards for downhole and surface safety equipment.
Participate in the selection and evaluation of service companies, suppliers, and equipment, and maintain effective communication with all relevant parties.
Manage program costs versus AFE by analyzing solutions and reviewing new technologies for project application.
Engage in quality assurance/control and daily operational monitoring to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications and Skills Required for Success as a Workover Engineer Proven field experience and exposure to Production Systems Design (PSD).
Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to prepare and review technical documents, such as Completion and Workover Programs and AFEs.
Experience in supervising and mentoring teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, with a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively.
Experience in using InTouch for best practices, lessons learned, and technical alerts.
Additional Information Working Days Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9 am - 5 pm.
Location: The role is based in an office setting in Benghazi.
However, be prepared for occasional call-outs over weekends as operational needs arise.
