Job Purpose and Role We are seeking a talented Front End Developer with a mixed expertise in WordPress, HubSpot and ReactJS to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for updating and customizing our website by collaborating with marketing and ensuring that the site is optimized for both user experience and performance.
You will work closely with other team members within a scrum framework, contributing to the overall development process and bridging the gap between design and technical implementation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate engaging content into the website using WordPress and ReactJS.
Ensure that the website design aligns with user experience requirements and is consistent with UX guidelines.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, writing reusable code and libraries to streamline development.
Optimize the website for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring efficient performance across all devices and browsers.
Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure websites meet business goals and brand standards.
Lead and provide guidance on the integration of Hubspot to existing Wordpress websites Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations for new projects Work within a multidisciplinary team, including back-end developers and web designers, to deliver cohesive and functional applications.
Validate all user input before submission to the back end, maintaining high standards of code quality.
Document processes, coding practices, and custom development work to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
Provide training and support to non-technical staff on how to use WordPress effectively.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, continuously improving and updating skills to bring innovative solutions to the team.
Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Front End Developer.
Deep understanding of WordPress core functionalities, including the loop, hooks, filters, and WordPress APIs.
Proficient in WordPress development and customization.
Strong expertise in ReactJS and JavaScript frameworks Strong skills in front-end development, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with popular page builders like Elementor.
Knowledge of current SEO techniques and how to implement them within WordPress.
Familiarity with tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse for performance analysis and optimization.
Experience with HubL, Jinjava and Jinja is highly preferred Familiarity with git platforms like GitHub and GitLab.
Experience with JIRA for project management.
Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager configuration is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
