How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) projects, from approval to closure. They will work closely with the project management teams to ensure that the projects are executed within budget and in alignment with the Airgas Capital policy. They will collaborate closely with the regional teams to evaluate capital investment opportunities, optimize financial performance, and help drive informed decision-making. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will support strategic decision making by providing critical insights and recommendations through data analysis and publishing financial reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Reviews and creates CAPEX (capital expenditure) projects ensuring they have the necessary approvals per the DOA and adhere to the Airgas Capital Policy.
Maintains, prepares, and publishes existing Dashboards and Reporting tools.
Keeps close track of the division CIP accounts and works closely with the Central Accounting Group to ensure that projects are closed and the final assets are created in a timely manner and in compliance with the Airgas Capital Policy.
Performs routine General Ledger reviews & Journal Entries to ensure all Capital Expenditure costs are capitalized as needed.
Supports the Division's efforts to improve utilization of data warehouse reporting tools: SAP, Business Warehouse (BW) and Power BI.
Builds strong relationships with the Division and Regional teams.
Other projects/initiatives as assigned.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
Required Skills and Experience:
Two to five years financial reporting/financial analysis experience.
Knowledge of industrial companies strongly preferred.
Familiarity with financial statements and investment decision financial concepts.
Ability to manage multiple levels of priorities between divisional, local and corporate management and demands.
Possess exceptionally strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets and Slides (Google Scripts a plus) as well as a complex use of Excel including pivot tables, various formulas and Macros.
Experience with SAP, Microsoft Access, SQL, PowerBI (incl. Dax language) strongly encouraged.
Comfortable working with large datasets.

Strong organizational, team-building, and communication skills and the ability to work and navigate within a complex matrixed organization.
Experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements.
