Job Description - Vehicle Data Protection Project Management (MER0003F68) Description Based on the interpretation of laws, policies, regulations, and technical standards in the field of Vehicle Data Security, identify MB vehicle products' gaps and risks, support the design of mitigation countermeasures, and track to ensure implementation.
Support authority reporting from RD/PS for inspections, audits, filings, reports, etc.
Be responsible for vehicle data protection projects globally. Have an in-depth understanding of vehicle and backend data processing functions and technical mechanisms. Lead internal and external data compliance/security projects for MB RD. Consolidate necessary information from different stakeholders, based on which further explore risk points and conduct evaluation. Come up with and align on mitigation proposals with relevant RD teams, then monitor and ensure implementation.Identify and evaluate data security risks in the development life cycle, operation process, and business activities, and propose corresponding compliance improvement suggestions for the identified risks, come up with executable high-level technical solutions and follow up on the improvement implementation.Maintain the RD data compliance database, identify various compliance obligations, prevent legal compliance risks, and implement online dynamic maintenance.Support the publicity and training of data security systems, strategies, processes, requirements, etc., and enhance the data security awareness of all employees based on national and international laws, regulations, and technical standards.Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above, in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, software engineering, and other engineering majors.Excellent project management skills. At least 4 years or above working experience in complex project management experience in multi-national companies.At least 3 years or above working experience in data security management, data compliance, privacy protection. Comprehensive and profound understanding of vehicle data security and privacy protection-related regulations and standards (domestic and international), such as GDPR, Personal Information Protection Law, Data Protection Law, Provisions on Vehicle Data Security Management, etc., able to provide constructive opinions on compliance requirements in specific scenarios.Familiar with the development process of information or data security-related standards, and the corresponding assessment/certification methods. Experience in writing national or industry standards preferred.Familiar with commonly used vehicle data and privacy protection technologies, including data classification, data desensitization, data encryption, de-identification, and anonymization, etc., familiar with risk identification in different data flow scenarios, experience in designing data security technical solutions, and implementing data privacy protection solutions preferred.Experience in building vehicle data security management systems, and able to make the best suggestions for compliant system design of vehicle data security, personal information protection, and network security.Good English communication and writing skills. Strong motivation, execution in logical ways. Good project management, operation coordination, problem handling skills, good documentation and writing skills.
