Job Description - Validation & Automation Engineer for Zone Controller - T8/5 (MER00030HA) Description 5+ years of experience in ECU HIL validationGood understanding of system functions related to body electronicsShould have good command on any of the body electronics functions (e.g., Wiper system, sunroof, door control, keyless go, locking system, exterior light, interior lights, seat control system, etc.). Should be able to imagine different testing scenarios and write test cases by understanding the system requirements.Should be able to analyze requirements, develop test specifications, test scripts (PTTA preferably / CAPL / Python / Perl / C / C++), execution, and defect identification & logging.Good experience in UDS based diagnostic testing, DoIP.Should have worked on dSPACE SCALAXIO simulators and Vector test benches. Basic knowledge on setting up HIL environment, loads, hardware connections, and flashing ECU is required.Basic concepts of object-oriented programming are necessary.Knowledge and experience with Provetech scripting language will be a best fit, but Python scripting language will also work.Good understanding of ECU communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Flexray, and Ethernet.Good experience in bringing automation in testing projects.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Well-developed communication and teamwork skills.Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Outstanding personal initiative, sense of responsibility, commitment, and perseverance.Eager to learn and work with new technologies.What can be differentiating factors:Good understanding of software architecture concepts.Experience with AUTOSAR concepts.Understanding of Ethernet and OOP concepts.Understanding of UI functioning.Your Job Role and Responsibilities:Understand the new concepts of next generation EE architecture.Understand the body electronics functions requirements related to multiple systems.Develop test specifications, test scripts, and test framework.Test case execution on dSPACE HIL or Vector platform.Debug, analyze failures, and report to defect management systems.Discuss with system developers about the observed system behavior for issue resolution.Collaborate with other system testers to exchange ideas on improving the quality of HIL testing.Follow the approach to bring maximum test automation from the beginning.
