We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our Lima Studio (remote). As a UX/UI Designer, you will work with designers of different backgrounds and disciplines to transform new ideas into tangible products and services that improve people's lives.
Job duties and responsibilities Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with clients, product managers and/or engineersBeing familiar with general business needs and KPIs around user needsAbility to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implicationsTranslate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiencesIllustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemapsFacilitate the client's product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital productsLead and/or participate of brainstorming and co-creation sessions using different tools and workshop dynamicsPlan and implement new designs for concepts or business ideasOptimize existing user interface designsDesign and implement Usability Tests, A/B tests and experience reviewsCommunicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectivesDevelop technical and business requirements needed for great experienceDeliver intuitive and user-centered solutionsCombine creativity with an awareness of the design elements for responsive and multi-channel experiencesCreate prototypes for interface design interaction simulationHelp conduct user research interviews and testsIdentify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)Design different deliverables like UI Kits, Design Systems, mockups, user testing deliverables, etc. Lead or help design client presentations and demosBeing familiar with technical component needs to deliver clear technical specs for the dev teamsLead or help design project hand offs for the development teamsLead or help commercial calls along the sales team in order to raise enough information to deliver estimations of time and team needed for different projectsBe open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism Job requirements and qualifications 5 years of experience as a UX-UI Designer Consultant or similar role (Lead/Manager)Know and follow the design process: empathize with users, define pain points, ideate solutions, create wireframes and prototypes, test and iterate on designsFoundational UX concepts, like design thinking, user-centered design, accessibility and othersUnderstand the basics of UX research, like planning research studies, conducting interviews and usability studies, and synthesizing research results UI design portfolio that includes 3 end-to-end projects: a mobile app, a responsive website, and a cross-platform experienceBachelor's degree or studies in a design field and/orMicro Learning Certificates of any sources that credit their UX/UI expertiseExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to discuss and explain design optionsDetail orientedCritical thinkerProblem solver and customer-centeredKnowledge of Figma, SketchApp, InVision, Marvel, Zeplin and as "a nice to have" the Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesignExcellent visual fundamentals knowledge and versatile graphic executionAdvanced English level
