RYZ is looking for a UX Researcher who will join the Product Design team and partner with design, product management, marketing, and other stakeholders around the company to uncover deep insights about our users' behaviors and attitudes. You will help identify new opportunity areas, test concepts as they are being developed, evaluate products once they've rolled out, and help shape our future and roadmaps. You will be responsible for enabling evidence-based strategy and design decision making. From future-gazing to retrospective analysis, the data and insight into user's needs, motivations and wider social context that this team provides helps us make better products, services and experiences.
Basic Qualifications: -5+ years conducting strategic user experience research with proven ability to inform product and design decisions.
- Hands-on experience driving and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research including ethnographic interviews, contextual shadows, group sessions, live and remote usability studies, and surveys.-
- End-to-end experience with all aspects of the design research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, and executive presentations).
- Strong understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of different research methods, as well as the principles of survey design and statistics.
- Ability to synthesize and communicate findings in an engaging way.
- Ability to establish best practices and processes to enable others at Sonder to run their own research as needed.
- Self-motivated and Independent, with a strong ability to manage your own research process.
