Description Documenting IA, User journeys, UX flows, concept screens with all details, UI Specs for individual features/applications by discussing with different stakeholders like concept, design, development & translation teams.
Create wireframes, screen-flow diagrams, Information Architecture & UI spec documentation for individual applications that comply with existing Mercedes-Benz Interaction Design guidelines and latest OS specs (iOS and Android).
Designing Wireframes, UX Flows, UX Specifications for all the stakeholders.
Deliver Visuals, UI Assets and specifications to the development team.
Collaborating with the development team for ensuring pixel-perfect translation from concepts to production.
Consider localization, scalability, and ease of maintenance in design proposal.
Strong adherence to the in-house design process and work culture.
Design research and strategy, keeping in mind social, cultural, and technological trends and developments happening around the world.
Creative collaboration and pro-active inter-team support.
Qualifications Education & Training: Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Information Design, Visual Communication or equivalent. Experience: 5-8 years of experience with 2-3 years of relevant experience UI/UX design for Automotive In-Vehicle Infotainment domain (Preferred but not mandatory). Ability to create new concepts, understand future trends and propose creative and usable solutions for future user needs. Experience with creating cool user interfaces covering all design aspects. Experience with motion design, basic animations (2D/3D) for adding Wow factor to Concepts. Experience with interactive Mock-up and Prototype development. Experience in Agile working within corporate setup (Working know-how of Confluence / JIRA). Excellent user experience and interface design skills, with immaculate attention to details. Understanding of hardware/software/service design challenges including mobile and tablet form factors. Familiarity with driver distraction guidelines a plus. Skills: Familiarity with user-centric design principles, usability theories, best practices, and methodologies. Ability to document all design-related elements in an extensive manner. Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Protopie and other design/prototyping tools. Working knowledge on After Effects, Blender, Unity, Unreal, with some examples to showcase. Awareness about current trends in UI / Visual design (Automotive and otherwise). Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Well-organized and great attention to detail. Innovative problem solving and design excellence.
