As a Trade Support Analyst, you'll be responsible for understanding trading structures to accurately capture all transactions, complete reconciliation checks, and ensure controls are performed.
Job Responsibilities: Timely and accurate capture of all transactions in the Risk Management SystemsComplete intraday / end of day processes including completeness and reconciliation checks to ensure capture of new trading activity and general book management has been processed accuratelyWork closely with other operational functions and infrastructure groups to support a 'one team approach'Ensure all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed off on a timely basisClear and concise communication with all support teams to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queriesParticipate and contribute to various strategic initiatives; keep improving and evolving processes and business architectureBuild an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both a financial and operational perspectiveThis position is in the Interest Rates Derivatives Middle Office Team. The business is a high volume, high complexity business and involves a variety of interest rate products. There is a strong operational discipline required for the role, and an emphasis on the management of trade life-cycle processing and tight controls across the business.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: Advanced level of English. Must have clear communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively.Availability to work from 10 am to 8 pmKnowledge of the front to back Operations process (including the key elements such as confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting) and facilitate issue resolution across teamsUnderstand the key elements of other infrastructure groups (i.e. Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Collateral, etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areasAttention to details and sense of ownershipStrong problem solving, control, and project management skills.Preferred Qualifications: Understand all relevant derivatives and hedging products (Interest Rate Swaps, Basis Swaps, Interest Rate Options/Cap/Floors, Forward Rate Agreement (FRA), Zero Coupon and Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), Bond, Bond Options and Futures)Strong technical skills, especially in Excel (VBA is a plus)If you join the company, you will be part of a diverse and inclusive team that supports each other and will empower you to do your best work.
