We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Developer and Omni-Channel Lead to join our team in Argentina. This role is pivotal in leading the design and implementation of user-centric digital experiences and driving omni-channel merchandising initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design, omni-channel strategies, and the ability to manage international teams.
The UI/UX Developer and Omni-Channel Lead is responsible for leading the design and implementation of user-centric digital experiences and driving omni-channel merchandising initiatives. This role involves overseeing UI/UX development teams, conducting user research, creating high-fidelity designs, and formulating data-driven merchandising strategies to optimize user engagement and revenue. The individual ensures consistent design standards and effective communication among teams in India and Argentina, supporting the company's Build, Operate, Transfer, License (BOTL) model.
Compensation: Paid in (US Dollars) DOE
Contract Phase: Initially, you will be engaged as a contractor working remotely. You will need to register with Argentine tax authorities and choose an appropriate tax regime, such as Monotributo or the general tax regime (Responsable Inscripto).
You will be responsible for issuing invoices for the services you provide and will receive payment in US dollars. Once our Buenos Aires office is established, we plan to offer contractors the opportunity to transition to full-time, onsite positions
Language Proficiency Requirements This position requires fluency in English, both written and verbal. Applicants must complete the application form in English. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, software developers, and stakeholders to translate business and user requirements into high-quality UI/UX designs for web and mobile applications. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and apply insights to create user-centric designs that enhance functionality and satisfaction. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and solutions effectively to stakeholders, clients, and development teams. Design intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that comply with usability and accessibility standards, adaptable to various devices and screen sizes. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design. Incorporate innovative design methodologies to improve design processes and outputs. Lead the formulation and execution of omni-channel merchandising strategies aligned with company objectives to integrate products and services seamlessly across multiple channels. Analyze digital merchandising data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement. Use insights to optimize revenue-generating features within the product offerings. Oversee A/B testing initiatives to evaluate omni-channel strategies' impact and implement findings to refine product and service bundles offered to consumers. Coordinate with analytics and development teams to track performance metrics of omni-channel initiatives and drive continuous improvement based on data-driven insights. Manage and provide leadership to UI/UX development teams located in India and Argentina, ensuring consistent design standards and effective project alignment. Mentor and guide UI/UX designers, providing professional development opportunities and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Manage project timelines and resource allocation efficiently to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality designs. Address challenges and obstacles promptly. Work integrally with the ISR Division Systems team to align UI/UX design efforts with the company's BOTL distribution model and support the operational readiness of ISR Divisions. Facilitate the transfer of ISR Divisions to buyers by providing training and support on digital merchandising tools and strategies, ensuring buyers are equipped to operate independently post-transfer. Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and promptly address feedback or requirements. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, emphasizing user-centered design practices and digital merchandising strategies. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar, with the ability to create detailed, high-fidelity design assets. In-depth understanding of UX principles, including usability, user behavior, and accessibility, with a track record of creating effective user interfaces. Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into design iterations. Proven expertise in omni-channel merchandising and digital analytics, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable design and merchandising strategies. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, capable of articulating design concepts, strategies, and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership skills with experience managing international teams, ensuring effective collaboration across different time zones and cultural contexts. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Experience in mentoring and developing UI/UX designers and promoting professional growth within the team. Knowledge and experience in managing project timelines, resource allocation, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
