The Tutor Operations Specialist, also known as the Fulfillment Engagement Specialist, supports applicants, updates our catalog of sessions, supports our customer success team, and assigns tutors.
We are looking for candidates with an interest in working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
The ideal candidate easily adapts to the needs of the organization, is a problem solver and self-starter, and has a passion for fulfilling our company's mission of helping people learn.Responsibilities: May include some or all of the following tasks; Support Tutor Applicants and Tutor Onboarding Screen candidates for tutor, group instructor, and educator roles (all independent contractors).Assist the tutor-setup process in the tutor marketplace including supporting applicants via phone, chat, email, and even video if necessary.
Update our Digital Inventory of Institutional Sessions and Courses Conduct data entry, registration, and enrollment activities for school district accountsAdd new courses to digital inventory and providing ongoing maintenance of this inventorySet up sessions in catalog based on client (school system or parent) or course requirements following checklists and documented processes Assign Tutors to Tutoring Sessions Match students with experts for one-on-one instruction and classes, following document processes and checklistsAssist tutors with questions about opportunities via phone, chat, email, and even video if necessaryContact tutors directly about specific sessions or to verify their knowledge or availability via phone, chat, email, or even video if necessary Support Institutional and Course Schedule Changes Partner with parents to identify and assess student's needs to implement the appropriate tutoring supportAudit tutoring sessions to determine compliance with individual school requirementsManage course participants, cancellations, and creditsSchedule meeting links for courses when necessary Other work as directed Qualifications: Level B2 English proficiencyExperience with data entry and fulfillment processes (catalog or account updates, inventory management, scheduling)Experience with Google documentsProfessional experience in recruiting, education, customer service, retail, or another fast-paced environment preferred or a bachelor's degree Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Comfortable performing all job responsibilities on a laptop or computerAble to perform basic technical troubleshooting with work equipmentHighly adaptable to change and thrives in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with exceptional attention to detailExcellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently.Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment where priorities change quickly.Willingness and ability to quickly learn business practices, policies and procedures.Ability to work full-time 40 hours a week, with at least 1 evening and 1 weekend day required based on available shifts (shifts to be adjusted seasonally based on demand if needed).
