You will take over the role of a Tuner Market Function Owner (MFO) in our interdisciplinary R&D team in the center of Seoul. In this position you will ensure that our Korean customers' expectations towards their in-car radio experience are met. Your main responsibility will be to safeguard the maturity of the tuner feature by systematic testing, regular attendance of test drives, defect management and close alignment with the development team on the bugfixing process.
Your tasks are:Testing of the tuner feature in the in-car infotainment systemTesting on system level (isolated feature testing, as well as regular testing of fully integrated official release builds)Management of a testing strategy; creation and execution of test casesDebugging support: flashing of device units with development builds and reproduction testingMaintenance of a test environment (Test benches)Coordination of external test engineers' testing activitiesConducting test drives (long and short distances)Defect documentation with proper issue logs and raw dataReview and report of external test engineers' defectsMonitor defect status and support with necessary further logsClose alignment with the development team on the bugfixing processDevelopment support for (new) tuner features and scope alignment with the global stakeholder teamsTechnology monitoring in Korea, Identification of local market needs, Assistance in requirement/specification creationQualificationsEducation: Master's / Bachelor's / Associate's degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics / Mathematics, or a related field of studyProfessional Skills: Experience in in-car infotainment product development, preferably entertainment features (beneficial: TV tuner)Sound technical understanding of hardware (electronics) and softwareExperience in testing, preferably in the automotive areaFamiliarity with defect management tools (e.g. JIRA, CodeBeamer, CAN Diagnostic Tool)Personal Skills: Proficiency in Business English, fluent in writing and speaking (German also beneficial)Great communicator with self-initiative and proactive attitudeHigh level of social competence and customer empathyExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsOthers: Willingness to join test drives on a regular basis (driver license mandatory, reasonable driving skills)GuidelinesApplications are open to individuals without disqualifying factors for overseas travel.
