Description
At Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Iberica S.L.U., we are looking for a Transport technician to join the OGA department. A professional with at least 2 years of experience in sea transport management, who will be part of a dynamic work team.
Your main functions will be:Manage all transport operations, including all logistics assets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery for spare parts.Participate in field-level planning of transport and provide advice on logistics considerations.Provide logistics and operational support to the field offices as well as advice on application of logistic management best practices, systems, and procedures.Deal with approximately 10 forwarders and 220 suppliers.Be a Key Account for the transport and logistics departments in our headquarters.Conduct inventory management for the pool park.Support in the planning of tenders.Perform reporting and clearing functions.QualificationsUniversity degree in Logistics or Business Administration.2 years of experience.Negotiation skills at first stage with customers.Detailed logistics knowledge.Expert user of relevant office systems.Fluent in Spanish and English; German is a plus.Organization
