Job Summary The Tooling Operations Coordinator will support fulfilment of tools across the region providing support in the areas of order fulfilment, general operations, systems support, order tracking and other administrative activities. The Tooling Operations Coordinator will perform some or all of the functions below in addition to other duties that may be assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for engaging in order entry, management and tracking of tools utilizing Tooling digital systems.Act as a requester for all PO requests for items purchased by the Tool Center.Assist with billing process as appropriate; calculate invoices and feed to billing systems.Connect with vendors to obtain quotes for equipment or fabricated tools necessary for the Tool Center.Compile aggregate data and metrics for management team.Clarify tool requests with the region field teams who requested tool kits.Build positive relationships with end field customers.Receive and validate purchases that arrive in the tool center.Provide general operations and administrative support to Tooling Coordinators, Facility Managers and Logistics team as necessary.Plan and schedule tasks assigned by management.Travel may be required.Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree or two years of experience in a sourcing-related role.Or High School Diploma and 5 years of logistics planning and execution experience.Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals.Desired Characteristics: Exercise excellent customer service skills.Excellent communication and management skills.Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees.Understand office formats and procedures, including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.Must be computer literate and able to create spreadsheets and reports.Logistics experience with "goods-in / goods-out" protocol.FieldCore is an equal employment opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, ancestry, genetic information, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
