Job Summary The Tooling Operations Coordinator will support fulfilment of tools across the region providing support in the areas of order fulfilment, general operations, systems support, order tracking and other administrative activities. The Tooling Operations Coordinator will perform some or all of the functions below in addition to other duties that may be assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for engaging in order entry, management and tracking of tools utilizing Tooling digital systemsAct as a requester for all PO requests for items purchased by the Tool CenterAssist with billing process as appropriate; calculate invoices and feed to billing systemsConnect with vendors to obtain quotes for equipment or fabricated tools necessary for the Tool CenterCompile aggregate data and metrics for management teamClarify tool requests with the region field teams who requested tool kitsBuild positive relationships with end field customersReceive and validate purchases that arrive in the tool centerProvide general operations and administrative support to Tooling Coordinators, Facility Managers and Logistics team as necessaryPlan and schedule tasks assigned by managementTravel may be requiredAbility and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignmentsPerform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree or two years of experience in a sourcing-related roleOr High School Diploma and 5 years of logistics planning and execution experienceMust be able to read and interpret technical manualsDesired Characteristics: Exercise excellent customer service skillsExcellent communication and management skillsStrong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employeesUnderstand office formats and procedures, including Microsoft Office Suite and InternetMust be computer literate and able to create spread sheets and reports.Logistics experience with "goods-in / goods-out" protocolFieldCore is an equal employment opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, ancestry, genetic information, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
