More About UsThe Supply Chain department is seeking new candidates to its growing dynamic team. The department provides support to the US Lubes Organization all along the planning value chain.
What role you will play in our teamManage truck logistics operations supporting lubricant plants and regional distribution/fulfillment centers across the ExxonMobil network.Serve as a trucking logistics subject matter expert for Customer Service, Logistics Service Providers and the Lube Plants.About YouDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with the contracted carriers.Leverage to manage unplanned volume increases and requests for additional coverage.Work directly with 3P carriers to quickly resolve tactical, strategic, quality and/or SSH&E issues.Address performance/capacity issues, ensure on-time shipment/delivery, and minimize costs.Conduct regular meetings and business reviews to assess and steward performance.Identify and drive improvement initiatives to optimize plant/truck operations and improve costs.Conduct analysis and collaborate with Manufacturing & Supply Chain to identify opportunities.Coordinate transportation synergies between Lubes and Chemicals.Collaborate with S&OP to reduce emergency shipments and their associated costs.Provide guidance and support to the 4PL, Procurement, and Payables.Guide carriers in prior cargo guidelines, off-loading procedures, incident management, etc.Support ad hoc requests for data and analysis.Preferred QualificationsStrong communication skills and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment.Analytical and data driven.Able to lead, guide and influence without direct formal authority.Sound business judgement, problem solving, and decision making skills.Strategic and creative approach with a strong focus on continuous improvement.Highly customer focused.Adaptability/flexibility – comfortable multi-tasking and managing shifting priorities.Supply Chain / Logistics / Manufacturing / Sales experience beneficial.An ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
