The Position
Therapeutic Area (TA) Senior Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing clinical development of our pipeline for diabetes and obesity. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams and drive the overall success of the clinical projects.
Responsibilities Lead the clinical development of our diabetes and obesity pipeline.Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies in close cooperation with the head of the Clinical Development Centre (CDC) in Argentina to ensure the successful delivery of our diabetes and obesity clinical trials.Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and other stakeholders in the diabetes and obesity community.Driving implementation and execution of CDC trial delivery strategies in close cooperation with CDC Head. Implementing CDC trial delivery tactics across CDC. Managing assigned TA trial portfolio, incl. risk management at CDC level.Building effective operational model addressing current and future needs for functional team within CDC organizational structure.Drive the development and implementation of innovative clinical trial designs and methodologies to improve patient outcomes and meet business objectives.Qualifications University degree in a related field (Life Science).Fluent in oral and written English and Spanish.At least 3 years of experience in clinical trial management with strong track record in clinical trial execution in multifunctional team, including clinical quality and training. At least, 3 years' experience in direct line management.Strong leadership skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively.Conceptual and strategic approach to the clinical organization development in multi-country setting.Desired Qualifications
• Master's degree or PhD in life or natural sciences (desirable).
• Strategic insight to clinical trial conduct processes and continuous improvements.
• Ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities.
• Ability to deliver through others on-time and with high quality.
