Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Test Automation Engineer (DevOps Engineer) to join our client's Engineering Enablement Department. This department is focused on accelerating teams globally by providing tools and services to empower engineers to deliver high-quality solutions quickly and autonomously. About the Project: The Engineering Enablement Department aims to optimize the engineering processes by building and enhancing platforms that enable development teams to deliver value with speed and autonomy. The focus is on creating tools, frameworks, and providing guidance to unlock the full potential of development teams. This role emphasizes a combination of DevOps skills and expertise in test automation and is perfect for candidates passionate about integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain a quality platform to support engineering teams. Design and implement test automation solutions for API, UI, and Kafka applications using technologies such as Cypress, Playwright, Karate Framework, and Packt. Collaborate with product and application teams to optimize systems and improve business outcomes. Create and support performance testing solutions for business platforms. Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring test automation fits seamlessly into the development workflow. Contribute expertise in a key area: Kubernetes, Kafka, or Performance Testing. Proactively communicate with stakeholders and foster a collaborative environment. Technical Requirements: 5 years of relevant experience in Test Automation, DevOps, and working with Agile methodologies. Proven expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines with a focus on integrating test automation. Experience with Cypress, Playwright, Karate Framework , and other relevant testing tools. Knowledge and hands-on experience in managing Kubernetes clusters . Strong familiarity with Kafka for data streaming and integration testing. Experience in performance testing using tools such as Gatling . Proficiency in GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and workflow automation. Familiarity with Azure Cloud Services is a plus.
