Infopulse, Part of TietoEvry Create, is inviting a talented professional to join our Telecom team as a Telecom Infrastructure Manager in Argentina.
As part of the Networks Department, the Infrastructure team operates across nearly 40 countries. Infrastructure Network Managers report directly to the Head of Infrastructure. The primary responsibility is managing telecom sites and OSP (Outside Plant) infrastructure within assigned countries, including capacity management, operations, and maintenance. This role involves planning, operations, maintenance, vendor management, project implementation, documentation, and service delivery related to telecom site infrastructure (data centers—both owned and rented), technical site cabling, and OSP (optical fiber cables, ducts, and routes). The Infrastructure Network Manager supports processes such as lifecycle management, network optimization, service assurance, service delivery, customer care, sales, and other business-critical operations as needed. The role works closely with the Infrastructure Planning function and oversees site growth, end-of-life equipment replacement, telecom equipment, and customer infrastructure installation.
Areas of ResponsibilityEstablish procedures for the operation and maintenance of sites and infrastructureEnsure the security and controlled access to all technical sitesCoordinate with external engineering contractors when requiredMaintain up-to-date network inventory using databases and reportsParticipate in Critical Infrastructure Protection activities in line with local regulationsManage infrastructure capacity, such as cooling and power systems, ensuring efficiency throughout the equipment lifecycleDrive site efficiency improvementsOversee vendor management for local and global service providersHandle right-of-way matters for the optical networkPlan and implement OSP capacity expansions and reroutesSupport OPEX and CAPEX forecasting for infrastructure-related costs and contractsManage site optical cabling capacityDeliver customer orders and respond to infrastructure-related incidentsAct as a local escalation point for site incidentsManage planned maintenance and upgrades for infrastructureProvide necessary input for bids, solutions, and product development processesTrack infrastructure costs and invoice accuracySupport service delivery processes with relevant contributionsQualificationsLanguage Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatoryTechnical Knowledge: Degree or proven experience in technical facilities or telecom/utility network operations (power, cooling, fiber networks)Work Environment: Comfortable working in a digital, multinational environment using EnglishSelf-Management: Autonomous task delivery while being a strong team playerData Orientation: Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, R, visualization tools such as Qlik)Project Management: Strong project management and reporting skills.
