Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Video Game or Programming Teacher with a passion for innovative education. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field and 2-4 years of teaching experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. You will teach video game design, programming, and development to students of various age groups, with a focus on hands-on learning and real-world applications to create and teach courses on our E-learning platform, including lesson plans and curriculums.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach video game development, programming, and related subjects to STEM elementary, middle school, high school, and college-level students. Record courses online for E-learning. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, curriculum, and quizzes that incorporate STEM concepts and foster critical thinking and creativity. Implement game-based learning strategies to make complex programming concepts accessible and exciting for students. Manage classroom environments to create an interactive and collaborative space for virtual learning. Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and guidance to support their academic and personal growth. Stay updated on the latest trends in video game development, programming languages, and educational technology to keep curriculum content relevant and forward-thinking. Collaborate with curriculum developers and other instructors to refine course materials and ensure alignment with STREAM Technologies' educational goals. Adapt lessons for students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities, to ensure accessibility and inclusion. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and continuous training to stay at the forefront of STEM education. Requirements:
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. (Strongly required). Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Programming, teaching, or a related field. 2-4 years of proven teaching experience in video game design, programming, education, or a similar field. Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Unity, Unreal Engine, Scratch, etc.). Experience in developing or teaching game design and programming in a classroom or professional setting. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and adapt quickly to new challenges and platforms. Passionate about working with students from diverse backgrounds, including students with disabilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire students. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, with excellent organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching or working with VR/AR, programming, and game development technologies. Prior experience in an educational startup or tech-focused environment. Experience with integrating AI or other advanced technologies into curriculum design. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Benefits:
