The Team: The Public Ownership Team
This is an opportunity to lead the individual contributors, daily management of data collection, quality check and maintenance processes to contribute towards achievement of larger level team goals. It also includes an opportunity towards understanding business objectives, recommend & implement solutions to business problems. It gives you opportunities to ideate and implement projects to achieve higher accuracy of dataset and faster completion of processes. Responsibilities and Impact: This role would involve leading a team of 12-15 Data Researchers as well as planning, prioritization, and execution on projects & initiatives. The role requires sound knowledge of workflow, collection processes and good coordination among peers across all offices to ensure accurate & timely collection of data.
Manage multiple operations support teams for a range of data/content management activities.Successfully lead and manage a team of individual contributors, virtually & in person to establish goals aligned to overall domain objectives and ensure that expected results are delivered on-time, monitor and measure individual and team performance periodically.Create an environment of consistent improvement, motivating the team to perform at a higher efficiency and foster a culture and initiatives that focus on team building and unity.Coordinate with team leads and managers across all offices or other teams as required and work closely on deliverables, projects or initiatives as required.Ensure clear and transparent communication across all levels and teams.Own and be accountable for performance of the team and effectiveness of the production process.Responsible for collecting feedback, work on testing and all other tasks associated with development of collection tools and systems.Present and execute ideas for improving overall departmental processes, procedures, and tools.Continuously implement and innovate techniques to maximize productivity.Prepare various production and quality metrics and reports and ad-hoc analysis highlighting status and/or progress of relevant matters to be worked/resolved.Work on workflow analysis, monitoring, and resource allocation as daily operational activity.Manage the performance of team members and conduct reviews.Conduct intensive trainings for the team, plan resource requirements and develop back-up and succession plans.Manage the aspirations of team members and create an environment of continuous improvement.What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Good problem resolution skills through effective collaboration with various stakeholders.Capacity to give and accept feedback constructively and provide coaching to the team.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Flexibility to adapt the shift to business requirements.People management skills, ability to build and motivate a team.Maintains high ethical standards both personally and professionally, to maintain transparency in the team.Proven ability to work with minimal direction, maintain focus while working with routine tasks.Good knowledge of Data/Content Management operations and knowledge of Investment Management universe would be an advantage.Problem Solving: Solve a variety of problems within their operational setting.Provide solutions based on best practices and existing precedents.Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish.Additional Preferred Qualifications: 5+ Years of overall experience in research or related profile.Complete knowledge of SQL and MS tools like Excel, Word, Power Point.Expertise in in-house tools, processes and workflow tool like Pathfinder, CTS, Celsus etc.Proficiency in LEAN/AGILE principles, Blue Prism, Python & Six Sigma certification would be an added advantage.Knowledge of Visualization tool like (Tableau, Power BI etc.) is desirable.Any previous experience of handling a team of talented individuals.1-2 years of experience in Quality Vertical/Functions.About S&P Global Market Intelligence: At S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
