The Team: S&Ps Loan Reference Data product services internal clients as well as external clients and is focused on providing loan data and tracking to be used in the broader marketplace.
Responsibilities and Impact: Acquire knowledge of all LRD processes and functionsLead and motivate the team to generate new ideas and create efficienciesCreate weekly dashboards to review and track progress on the team's metricsProvide management metrics on team task and growth initiativesMonitor FreshDesk (mail flow system) response times across the team to ensure client obligations are being met on timeConduct weekly check-ins with the team to share knowledge and create accountabilityAbility to work closely with internal teams to review and enhance processesAssist team members on questions they have on their day-to-day workflowsMonitor and track special projects assigned to team membersProvide quality assurance checks on credit dataAnalyze all aspects of the new deal closing, credit agreements, amendments, and restructuresProcess data, manage exceptions, create new assets, and interact with clientsProvide written emails to management with the audit findings and trend analysisCreate new loans in S&P Global WSOData and set up current contracts and amortization schedulesCreate new assets in S&P Global WSOWeb (Bonds, CDS, ABS, Equities)Review and recommend changes to policies and procedures to improve data and auditingMaintain documentation library by requesting and updating documentsManage all loan identifiersPerform ad hoc reporting, analysis, and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretationProtect the business through documentation, policies and procedures, metrics, and data validationsInteract with appropriate individual/entities to gather all pertinent information to reflect the accuracy of the referential dataAdditional Ad hoc responsibilities within the teamWhat We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Graduate degree/ Post Graduate or equivalent in Finance, Economics or Business preferred but not requiredCoaching mentality to build into team members to grow their careerStrong data analysis skills, ability to query and analyze large volumes of financial dataWork in fast paced environment with the ability to multitaskMust be able to document processes thoroughly and be well organizedDetail oriented and shows initiativeAbility to work well individually, as well as in a global team environment; coordinating well within our team as well across other teamsAdvanced Excel skills, working knowledge with MS OfficeKnowledge of SQL querying a plusExperience with the syndicated loan market, credit agreements, Moody's and S&P corporate rating structure and methodology is a plus
